About this experience
Visit the largest museum in the Nationalgalerie network, focused on 21st-century art. Explore the extensive collection of contemporary artworks by famous artists across different exhibitions. The Hamburger Bahnhof (Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart) is located in the former railroad station between Hamburg and Berlin. The 30,000 m2 area, including the historic station building, Rieckhallen, and gardens, has been a listed monument since February 2023. Exhibits inside and outside the museum highlight Berlin’s art scene from reunification in 1989 to the present day. Up to 10 special exhibitions each year show current work by artists from around the world. The museum also offers daily guided tours, workshops, performances, concerts, and talks.
